When the RSL calendar and mine fall in harmony I like to do a feature I call Face to Face, a sit down in depth interview with an RSL player.  It has been some time since my last Face to Face feature with David Viana.  Previous attempts to do an interview with other players were thwarted by recent roster changes at the Claret-and-Cobalt.  I have particularly wanted to do this feature this offseason to help fill the void that exists in the life of an MLS fan this this time of year.

Often times we don’t hear from many of the younger players on the roster or the Spanish-speaking players in the media.  My main objective is to conduct these interviews in Spanish when possible and publish them in Spanish and English so RSL fans of all languages have an opportunity to get to know the guys who make up our roster a little more intimately.

Cuando permite el calendario de Real Salt Lake y el mío me gusta hacer una crónica que nombro Frente a Frente, una entrevista a fondo con un jugador de RSL.  Ha pasado algún tiempo desde la última crónica con David Viana. Algunos intentos anteriores de hacer una entrevista con otros jugadores se vieron frustrados por los cambios recientes a la nómina de Real Salt Lake. He querido hacer esta crónica en la temporada baja para ayudar a llenar el vacío que existe en la vida de un aficionado de la MLS durante el invierno.

Muchas veces no escuchamos de muchos de los jugadores más jóvenes en la nómina o los jugadores que hablan español en los medios de comunicación.
